Naming taxonomy
A naming taxonomy is the agreed convention for naming campaigns, ad sets and ads so that every live object identifies its client, market, objective, audience and tactic consistently. It is what allows platform data to map automatically back to plan lines and reporting to build itself.
In practice
Without a taxonomy, cross-platform tracking degenerates into manual matching, and unmappable spend disappears into 'other' buckets where nobody manages it.
Document exceptions and enforce the convention at activation QA; a taxonomy that lives in one person's memory is not a taxonomy.
