Required daily spend
Required daily spend is the remaining budget divided by the remaining campaign days: the average rate needed to finish on budget. It is a diagnostic, not a recommendation - the planner must judge whether platforms can absorb that rate efficiently or whether reallocation is the better move.
In practice
The figure becomes useful when compared with recent delivery. A line that needs £925 a day but has averaged £600 with no planned change is not going to recover by itself.
Forcing an unrealistic rate through the final week typically buys the most expensive, least efficient delivery of the whole flight.
